FAQs
Your incisions will take two to three weeks to heal, but it will be approximately six months before you see the final results. It will take that long for the fat transfer to settle, and the swelling to fully subside. Neglecting proper aftercare can lead to Brazilian butt lift risks and complications.
Don't eat for 8 hours and don't drink for 6 hours before surgery (general anesthesia). You may brush and rinse your teeth, but do not eat or drink anything. No moisturizer or body lotions. Do not bring any jewelry or valuables with you on the day of surgery.
So, how long can these safe and natural-looking results last?
BBL results are meant to last for several years. The extracted fat cells with liposuction will not return to the donor area, and fat cells that survive the transfer to the buttocks will remain for years to come.
